Standard Counselling session - private/non funded reduced rate

$130.00

Standard counselling offers a warm, collaborative, and non-judgmental space to help you navigate life’s challenges, regain clarity, and foster lasting personal growth. Grounded in a holistic perspective, my practice integrates a variety of evidence-based therapeutic framework, tailoring each session to your unique background, strengths, and goals:

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT): Identify and reframe unhelpful thought patterns and behaviours to create practical, everyday strategies for managing mood, anxiety, and stress.

  • Narrative Therapy: Explore and re-author your personal story, helping you separate yourself from your problems and recognize your inherent strengths and values.

  • Motivational Interviewing (MI): Clarify your personal values and resolve ambivalence to foster meaningful, long-lasting motivation for change.

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT): Learn mindfulness techniques and strategies to accept difficult emotions rather than fight them, allowing you to move forward toward a valued life.

  • Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT): Concentrate on your strengths, resources, and future goals to find immediate, actionable solutions to current difficulties.

  • IFS-Informed Parts-Work: Gently explore different internal "parts" of yourself (such as an inner critic or protective self) to cultivate internal harmony, self-compassion, and deeper self-understanding.

This reduced rate is offered for private paying participants who dont have access to funded supports/packages or insuance rebates.
