Welcome; I’m Chrissie, your local Arts Therapist based in Melbourne; Point Cook Practice, Mobile Service Across Melbourne & Geelong; & Online Across Australia
My practice grows from a belief that multimodal arts are the bridge between self, nature, community; and what is known & yet to be discovered.
My work is rooted in mindfulness, meditation, movement, sound therapy, visual arts & nature therapy to express what is felt and seen within each moment that you engage with the materials.
During Arts Therapy sessions, you will be invited into a space where differences are celebrated, voices are honoured & the unknown parts of self are brought into light. These sessions are a safe & open space where you can journey together into areas of deeper self-awareness, growth & healing.

How Arts Therpy Sessions Unfold
Using a Neuroaffirming, Family Violence, LGBTI+ and Trauma informed lens
Session 1 . Opening & Expression
We begin by creating a safe, supportive space where something can emerge naturally. Many people are surprised by what comes up;feelings, thoughts, or insights that weren’t fully accessible before
Session 2. Exploring More Deeply
We gently return to what emerged and begin to understand it more. This might include patterns, emotions, or underlying beliefs that are becoming clearer.
NDIA Participants charged according to the NDIA Pricing Arrangements & Price Limits. Discounts offered to those facing financial hardship or with concession cards - refer to the Services and FAQ’s tab for details.
Session 3. Making Meaning & Supporting Change
By this stage, things often begin to shift. There may be a sense of clarity, relief, or a new way of relating to what’s been coming up.
A gentle, creative process
Creative therapy often works a little differently to what people expect.
While a single session can be meaningful, most people find that what emerges in that first session is just the beginning of something deeper.
Rather than needing to explain everything in words, we use creative expression to access what’s underneath; often things that are hard to reach through talking alone.
"… the embodiment of sensed and felt knowings can, through movement or reenactment, release feelings into emotions front within the body, bringing their felt understandings into connection with kinaesthetic imagery experienced but never processed.
The body holds powerful memories of such experiencing that are able to be accessed" (Lett, W., 2011).
